It's kinda funny how just when you think you've found the one you love everything goes wrong
and suddenly you realize how hard it is to stay strong
How your just hit with a wave of pain
and the tears begin to fall like rain
The way it turns your life around
and you can never seem to keep your feet on the ground
How your always wondering why
they had to say good-bye
and all you do is wish to go back to the past
and find a way to make it last
Then you start to wonder if all those words were lies
even the ones that were said to you while looking in your eyes
It hurts to think of all the times they said "I love you"
and wonder if those words were really true
From the very very start
they swore they'd never break my heart
but they did in the end
and left a wound that'll never mend
Now you'll never believ another word they say
or be able to look at them the same way
Now that their gone
the only thing left to do is move on
to make that sacrifice
and start a new life
A chance to make things right for me
and the freedom to be free
