Do you remember when it all started to change
It's funny how he reminds me of childhood days
This perfect summer, can I pinpoint the feeling of it?
Do you remember where it all went wrong?
I wish I could figure you out, figure all this out
because it never stays the same, no not for long
comfort doesn't work into life's events
we've had to learn the hard way
had to find things we never knew were there
and this song makes me want to cry
even though I've heard it a dozen times
and why won't you let me in
I'm here regretting the things that I said
even though it seemed right at the time
it's hitting me finally, that things will never be the same
I hate this moment, this dawning of doubt,
I can't put it into words, saying goodbye is too hard
to the things that mean the most to me
