Curse of their Price

Contributed by spazz911 on Sunday, 8th May 2005 @ 08:14:22 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Haunted by shadows
the noise of the street
death lingers near me
waiting for pain to meet

Screaming voices
kept quiet for too long
lingering emotion
pumping into my mind

Overwheleming noise of shadows
drifters of this world
hearing a noise that only I can hear
searching for an escape

Followed by people
never meant to meet
screaming of angels
as they fall by my feet

Never what's needed
never enough
to continue through fire
a blazing pit of hell

Waiting for one more mess up
my last chance is over
spent on the feel of your lips
and the curse of their price

Very vivid imagery. Very unsettled, nay, agitated emotions. Thought provoking.
