We are utterly insignificant
In this universe
That we have never seen
And on this planet of simple life forms,
That we have never ventured off from,
We speak
As though
We are the ultimate voice of superiority
We think we have control
But its something
We will never know
With ambitions to rule
With ambitions to conquer
Our visions of power
Can go no further
Than the sky
That rises further and further above us
But the Earth
And everything a part of it is weak
And power over people
Is such a trivial thing
When to be exploited
Is something that the people
Are all born to seek
We have the power
To create illusions
We have the power
To build ourselves up
In false directions
But within the cycle of inevitability,
The cycle that we all inhabit,
There is no real power
And so all along
As we fight and quarrel
As time is moving on
The sky is rising further and further above us
Leaving us behind
Alone to understand
That our power
Is only in our imagination
