Dreams are Not Enough
Again Im rotting here lonely
Because of something Ive done
I twist and I turn as these tears burn
Howd I lose what I could of won?
These harsh blind presumptions
I force in your face they break up your heart
Id take them all back if I could and I would
Go back with you to the start
And now that they see I am lonely
Theyre prowling around eyes wide
Closing in fast, coming in strong
Theyre trying to get inside
Theyre reaching out to touch me
this so called beautiful exterior
Asking me here, calling me there
But compared to you, theyre inferior
I cant keep my mind off of you
As they show off... what theyve all got
They dance, they prance, glitter and shine
But youre still everything they are not
They could send me twenty white roses
And squeeze me till I turn blue
But that wouldnt distract and make my thoughts stray
From this beautiful image of you
They could soak me in affection
and give up themselves to me
but theyd never even come close to you
you are all theyll never be
Dreams of you are not enough my Darling. If I wake tomorrow and youre still not there, Im never waking up again.

Okay...wow....lets see..the best part of the poem was the beginning...the middle got a little sketchy, but you pulled of a great ending to overshadow the small glitch...Great Job all around..
