Did you know?
I've been here all along
Waitin' for you to recognize me in the crowd
Of faceless people.
Sitting motionless in silence
River of people passing me by
Without a single word
Sheltered in their thoughts.
The daily show begins
They smile to each others
Askin' questions without a meaning.
'Cause this is right
It should be so.
After passing, forget they ever met.
You've been there to
Didn't you?
But now you're gone
Drown in the crowd.
Not black or white
Just gray
Another day is gone.

Bravo this is great, i like the way it's so open asking alot of me as a reader. It sounds so nice, almost like it's drifting like a leaf floating to the ground. I particuly like the ending and the 'it should be so.' A very good poem thanx for posting it.
