Are We Losing It All

Is the age of hate
So far away from sight
And loving others
Extinct?
Where did all the kindness go?
Where is all the love?
Are we losing it all?
Is everything so bad?
Can I not
Walk down the street
Without being enveloped in fear?
I can't tell you everything
You'll have to see for yourself
I just think
That the world is too impressionable
Photoshop pictures in magizines
Telling us what to look like
Rap music
Blaring in our children's ears
Telling them to kill
I, personally, think
We've lost it all
But just because I say we have
Just because I've lost hope
Doesn't mean that you have to
Or that I am right
Find your own opinion
