You hurt my heart You messed with my head I fell apart From the things you said.
My memories I've sold Cast them away No more to be told There left to decay.
As I stumble Down this road I hear you mumble And on you strode.
I cried inside As you left me behind I started to reside In my mind.
There's nothing to lose The voice says now You've been abused You'll win somehow.

Well this one certainly made me think about all the hurtful things i said to someone i love ....and i wont sit and try and justify what i said to him because what was said was pretty hateful and mean but that goes for both of us....i think it's safe to say we both hurt eachother the same....im just glad that he's alive...and that 2 very special lil ones are ok to...among 2 more that i think of quite often that live there with him.....i thank you for your writings my friend they touch me deeply and take me back in time....Keep writing....

This was so different to your other poem ... I was surprised. It was short and direct - I loved your words and can relate to them very well.
