You don't know anything about me
You never tried to understand
About the things most important to me
About the people I love so dearly
It's really none of your business
You should have no say in my affairs
My life is out of your hands now
So please, just leave me alone
Quit insulting my intelligence
Quit judging my lovers and friends
Don't insult my every move
You're wasting your breath
I've developed a mind of my own
I no longer have to depend on you
If you told me to leave forever
I would do it without hestitation
I don't need your hateful words
I don't need your nasty looks
You can't tell me I know nothing
I know enough to hold my own
All my life I have needed a father
But you have simply pushed me down
You dare to call me your daughter
But of my you've never said you're proud
You're a sad pathetic man
With so much anger inside
So, for now, I'll forgive you
But, please, don't expect me to smile.
