When they are little children And have small mishaps, They run just as fast as they can go Straight to Grandma's lap. She puts her arms around them And kiss their hurts "all well." She brags on them for bein' so brave And other sweet things tell! When they grow up to be adults And disappointments come their way, They will still run to their Grandma Just to hear her say, "You are brave and courageous And life's not always fair. Just try to keep a smile on your face 'Cause you have poeple who care." Grandma, We love you!! Thanks for a gift so special and rare. You give us hope, strength and courage By always bein' there.
