Rodents 2

Topic: DarkPoetry

Merry days, Rodents, it's been a while.
I've missed your sweet seductive smile.
Time's been passing us,
It's been so great.
Yet still I'm laid out upon a slate
and blood rushes to my wrongly-turned head,
I kind of wish that we were dead.
I sort of want to just lay here for now.
The squirrels pull at my eyes,
because I have seen too much.
They run up and pull off my fingers.
OW! That hurt a bit,
but I forgive them.
So later we like, walked hand in hand.
We spent the day together and,
Perhaps had a little too much to drink,
But we washed up in the sink,
For our little rendevous
In the hood, me and you,
Rodents. Best of buds,
Washing with our bubbly suds,
Life is happy when I'm with you.
Yet still I miss something,
but oh well.
So I just go to bed.
I have a dream...
and they died a painful death of malicious rats
chewing upon their insides and feasting,
picking apart the better bits,
and leaving the rest for me.

Hmm...maybe I'm tired...I just can't figure out the meaning!

*feels stupid*

It flows very nicely, however! ^__^

I enjoyed this little ditty immensely! Thank you! RW
