The night ebbs away, as the first ray of Morn bleeds across the horizon, My lovely Luna fades slowly into the distance, A lingering smile of reassurance She will return to me
~
I am blinded by the radiant essence of the Day Ruler, Dominant and beautiful in her sea of sapphire solitude She sacrifices her brilliant luminosity, And gives me a warm kiss
A crown of sunrise on my head, Im misjudged for a saint, And all implore for my forgiveness
The day drags on like the slimy legacy of a snail, Forever yearning to spread my wings and fly, To the comforting embrace of Freedom
~
Obscurity has painted His dark masterpiece, Sweet, melodious, gorgeous Night The orchestra of crickets has begun, And I hear a faint piano in the vastness
My midnight muse has risen, Mistress of the night, Elegant in her cerulean tresses, And I fall slave to her infinite beauty She is hidden behind a jealous cloud, Her ghostly outline peeking through teasingly
Neath fallen embers of a midnight sky, I weep for the inspiration of my muse, So, I may paint a picture of endless moonlit splendor The moon, my queen, my mother, my heart, Lost forevermore in the vast ocean of stubborn clouds, And Im left with only the impending return of pink and purple hues
The harsh reality of Morning Light

Goodness how beautifully poetic and
hauntingly beautiful this was. I loved every
line and I am at a loss for words beyond that.
