Behind the eyes
The windows to the soul
Blank
Black
The way they water without real feeling
And tears fall down my face
Like blood in the rain
Like love in the pain
Im falling
Falling again
Behind the whispers
The sun as she sets
Is a secret
As dark as the darkness that swallows us whole
They dont know
They cant empathise
They just criticise
Whats behind these eyes
They wouldnt understand why the tears that fall are blood
They wouldnt understand why I feel this sweet remorse
Whats behind the eyes
The eyes of mine
Is a love to intertwine
A love taken
Another forsaken
Whats behind the eyes?
Its pure death.
