how do i tell you you're the one
show you my heart's not so forlorn?
a kiss is too much, that comes at luch maybe if i cry among the bunch
you might just have a hunch
should i wait, or do i cry out now
but what if they want me to take a bow
walking away is the hardest thing to do
i quietly cry to myslf boo-hoo
fore, you know i want you too
i watch from afar
the car door slightly ajar
happy thoughts come to mind as the shots ringout
suddenly everyone begins to shout
but all i do is pout
i kneel down next to you
not knowing quite what to do
with your noble chin and good loks
you're like a character from my books
and in my heart, you're in every crack and nook.

I waited. It was well worth the wait. I didn't just pout or cry though. I lived my life and let it play out.
