Just last week
The thought
Never crossing my mind
That you'd be gone so soon
I told you good-bye
And that I love you too
But I feel
That it wasn't meant
The same way
I didn't expect
That would be
Our last farewell
Some how
I think you knew
When you gave me a hug
It was as if
You never wanted to let go

I miss you
We all do
I know that you
Are in a better place
Smiling down
Watching over us
I'm relieved to know
That you
Are now in no pain
I'm proud of you
For who you were
And for what you've accomplished

| This was so sad,but beautiful! I did the same for my mom I wrote a poem for her & read it,also placed one in the casket! It was the hardest thing I ever read! The title is MOM,you'll have to read it! This was a great thing you did!Sorry to hear about that! Christina |

I lost my grampa when i was 3 years old and it was hard for me then and has affected my life more than i ever thought it would this is a beautiful tribute to your grampa it brought tears to my eyes my friend....my heart is right there with you...
