I THINK BACK ON EVERY STORY IVE EVER BEEN TOLD ABOUT YOU
AND I WONDER WHAT MY LIFE WOULD BE LIKE IF U WERE HERE
ALL IVE EVER WANTED WAS TO GET TO KNOW YOU
AND NOT HAVE TO SHED ONE MORE TEAR
I TRY TO IMAGINE WHAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN LIKE
FOR YOU TO TEACH ME HOW TO READ AND PLAY WITH MY HAIR
BUT WHEN I OPEN MY EYES YOUR REALLY NOT THERE
I KEEP TELLING MYSELF TO BE STRONG
BUT I NEED TO KNOW JUST WHAT I DID WRONG
WHY YOU DIDNT WANT ME OR CALL ME YOUR OWN
WHY YOU WERE NEVER THERE AT THE PLACE WEDE CALL HOME
ID LIE AWAKE AT NIGHT TOSSING AND TURNING
WITH THAT PIECE DEEP INSIDE DESPERATELY YURNING
TO KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT YOU HATE ABOUT YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD
AND WHY YOU LEFT ME LIKE I WAS JUST A ROCK IN THE MUDD
ID WAIT BY THE MAILBX FOR A LETTER OR CARD AND WHEN I REALIZED IT WASNT COMING IT HIT ME REAL HARD
SO I GUES ALL I CAN DO NOW IS JUST SIT AND WONDER HOW?HOW YOU COULD BE SO COLD AND LEAVE ME SO LONELY AND PRAY TO GOD IF ONLY IF ONLY.!.!

| I can relate to this poem cause my real dad didnt not want me either, he left me when i was five yrs old and now he told me he considers me dead! and not to contact him anymore.. so i always wonder what i did wrong so this is a sad poem and its a good poem also. |
