the tears

Topic: SadPoetry

i lie here awake not able to sleep
the thought of you just makes me weep
i know your gone and it hurts so bad
i think of the fun we never had
how i never got to have that one crazy dance
or see you eyes sparckle when you found romance
ill never get to hold your hand
and watch you take your first steps as a man
you were the best friend i ever had
if only i wouldv seen that you were so sad
you never let out any tears
and i always thought you had no fears
maybe if i would have said those three simple words
then you wouldnt be soaring high with the birds
i guess now all i can ask is why i couldnt see behind the mask
so before all the pain will go theres one last ything i have to know
why couldnt you have let me in and let me see the tears you never show!!!
