Staring at your eyes
Seeing only skies
Theres a light there,
One that isnt just a glare.
Do you see me?
Do you see my glee?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear my plea?
Watching as you walk
Wishing you would unlock
Wanna be the key
Thatll set the truth free.
Do you see me?
Do you see my glee?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear my plea?
Listening as you speak
Of your horrid critique.
The words that you spill,
Could be used to fulfill.
Do you see me?
Do you see my glee?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear my plea?
Standing on the cliffs edge,
Looking over the ledge.
Turning around,
Youre staring at the ground.
Do you see me?
Do you see my glee?
Can you hear me?
Can you hear my plea?
One more fleeting glance,
One last dying chance.
The final step ahead,
And every heart fills with dread.
Did you ever see me?
Did you ever sense my glee?
Could you ever hear me?
Could you ever hear my plea?
