THE GENTLEMAN

Contributed by kydistortion69 on Monday, 16th May 2005 @ 12:11:18 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

That sinister smile that sears
through the moonlit night-
With eyes of porcelin blazing
with a dark and illuminus fright-
Of powdered skin marked by
ageless design and wisdom-
Unhinged from space and time
with the grace of a darkened freedom-
Dressed in black and tailored attire
that commands the soul-
Carried by a motionless haze
lifting his presence to behold-
This creature of fear and darkness
present within every shadow and fear-
Feeding upon the essence that
eminates within every nightmare-
He is the eyes upon you on your way
down that darkened path-
And the chill that runs down your spine
and the breath in your gasp-
Though nameless and unknown to the
unfaithful person of these times-
He is the gentleman who comes with
a desire to possess your mind.
