I'm gonna be gone a long time
A year or maybe two
Don't cry for me
I'll be missing you.

I'd rather you remembered the good times
Than all the times we'd fight
Remember the things you loved
Not the differences we had.

I know you'll miss me
But don't change
Don't pray for me
Just love.

I don't know when I'm coming home
Or if I even will
I hope to see you before I die
Don't pray for me
I don't believe in god.

Don't pray for me
I'll be gone by tomorrow
Don't pray for me
Just love her while I'm away
You can't miss me forever.
