The residue of Love
Is worn like a scar
On my hearts inner self
I cry for you from afar
Knowing that you left
And keeping us apart
The residue of Love
Is apparent for all
Evidenced in my sad eyes
It is in my clumsy walk
My hopelessness
Clairvoyant in my talk
The residue of Love
Leaves a lasting impression
It forms a deepening hole
A substantial indentation
Every night I fall willingly
Into its horrid rotation
The residue of Love
Is on your breathe
The lust remains behind
Yet the passion has surly left
A proposition I do reject
The residue of love gladly accepts

My heart goes out to you...I just don't understand sweet guys like you being left behind...This is a wonderful, heartfelt poem that makes my heart ache.
