God wasn't picking on me!

Topic: ChristianPoetry

I have this wonderful little boy, his name is J.T
Today we walked to the park... stress-free
I ran and played, just like a big kid
I never thought I could keep up...but I did!
I have a husband who treats me so dear
June 26th we'll be married three years.
He gets up early and works hard all day
Although hot and tired, he only has loving words to say.
And there's Frank, the angel who lives next door
He's baked me a cake, and planted me flowers... at the young age of 94!
Now here comes the best part,
I was given the chance to heal my wounded heart.
My real mom spent some time with me alone
I wasn't dreaming, she was actually here , in my home.
We talked and laughed till all hours of the night
We got alot off our chest, we made things right.
I finally have the eyes to see...
That GOD wasn't picking on me.

Isn't amazing, we always get a chance to heal a wounded heart.
Unfathomable and mysterious are His ways.
This is a wonderful and deeply touching poem. Precious!
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Blessings
