I dont wanna need your help

i pick up my razor blade again
knowing it is my only true friend
its ben a while i say to it
but still, in my hand you fit.
ive ben hurting,
where have you ben?
are you still sharp?
i say to him
i know my arm
is just starting to heal
but things are too rough
i can no longer deal
i know you understand
you always do.
you help me
when im feeling blue.
so just hold your breath
it wont take long
just close your eyes
and prey till im done
ill drag you slowly
across my skin
releasing the pain
i feel within
with every drop
of blood that falls
i losen up my grip
till finally
i stop the cutting
and clean up all the mess
now see,
that wasnt really that bad.
it didnt even really hurt
and look,
there isnt that much blood
nothing to worry about.
it was nice to see you again,
i said to it.
thank you for your help.
but hopefully this is the last time
i use you to hurt myself.

UNFORTUNATLY, i can truly relate, because i am a cutter and i feel exactly that way towards my razor blade. its good to know that i can come to a site like this and see an ezcellent writer like you express your feelings through poetry.Keep Writing!
