How can it be that I can feel this way?
How can it be that you have such sway?

All I want is to run to you,
God only knows how
easy it would be to do.

People watching all around,
Knowing my life ends, if were found.
Yet, that doesnt seem to stop my desire,
must I actually be consumed by this fire?

A rollercoaster of emotion, a heart filled with fear,
A resolution is nowhere near.
So very close, yet you dont comprehend,
I fight for my children, my family not to end.

Yet, every moment, no, every thought,
Is filled with you and times never forgot.

Dont doubt what you know is true.
Dont forget what weve been through.
Though together we may never be.
My love is there, this you must believe.

Hidden deep, where others cant know,
To protect those others, we must do so.
But the knowing call I will always make.
This remember, for you, I can never forsake.
