the rain is pouring onto my skin comfortable in this skin im in refreshing to the taste and the touch liking the sensation too much
caressing me with the water so cold cleansing through my heart and my soul the rain gently massages my shoulders as the air slowly gets colder
i wipe the wetness from my palms water dripping down as i try to stay calm im finally ready to let go of it all and i feel drops of rain as it silently falls

It is a lovely poem. Yet it seems to need a little more feeling/passion. JMHO

I don't think this poem is so much about passion as that it is specifically about passion. In a life that has been filled with way too much it is nice to have the rain clean you off from all of that, like a big sigh of relief. That sigh is, one would view from the outside, anticlimactic, but on the inside it is your release, your freedom. Not with a bang, but a whimper... or maybe in this case, a whisper. Nice write. |
