What would you do,
If I didn't come back?
If you woke up and I was still gone.
My sheets still unruffled,
My shoes still gone,
The door still locked.
If you noticed,
Would you care?
Would you panic?
Call the police?
Search everywhere for me?
Or would you go to work?
Laugh with your friends?
Forget all about me?
I already know the answer.
And you can't lie to me.
Because I'm already gone.
And I'm not coming back.

| I love this.. as it brings back memories of when I was your age and is well done... however; years later I look back and after having a talk with my Mum who cried all those nights (and is now my friend) I wonder could I have been stronger just one more year until I was 18? It would have been worth it... all seemed like life was just so many years ahead of me then, like I had all the time in the world.. nah.. it flys right by.. |
