I Remember...

Contributed by mannyrich on Wednesday, 18th May 2005 @ 01:39:58 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

When you kiss me that night
under the lonely moonlight
I remember my teary eyes
while our hearts are saying goodbye

I remember the lonesome river
where we share our romantic years
I can't forget its cold water
as cold as the end of our affair

I remember the comely flower
that you give as a first gift
The smell that touch my loving heart
The thorns that bleed my aching heart

I remember the sweet promises
that we made under the lonely moonlight
making me wait in the lonesome river
to receive in the end a pain of heart

A good write but it was sad but at the same time I did enjoy it. You did a great job at showing your emotions and drawing the reader in. Take care and keep your head up….Steve
