|
take a step into the world of darkness
out of your shallow soul
leave caution at the door step with harshness
leave your body whole
turn around and run, with fear by your side
no where to go, no one there
nothing left to love, just hide
tears running, wind in your hair
world of darkness getting darker each day
prepare my room, light a candle
life slipping from this soul slowly away
without your love, there isn't anything i can handle

| This is a really good poem it reminds me of some of my hubby's poems when he first started writing and they only get better the more you write. |
