I Can't Breath

Contributed by nomad062303 on Wednesday, 18th May 2005 @ 06:47:54 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Im standing here trying to catch my breath
gasping for air out of all this distress
Im sitting here staring at the phone
I cant bring myself to dial the number so all i hear is the dial tone
How come everytime Im over you, you come back again
And I cant help that I love you so I let you back in
It seems like things may go right this time
But it doesnt it was just in my mind
so thats how I end up where I am now
Im trying to fix it but I cant figure out how
I get through to you but I cant breathe
Im crying and praying that you dont leave
trying to tell you, your the only person who has my heart
I never thought you would back in the start.
But you do so what are you going to do?
Let me go when you know Im the best thing for you
Are you going to come back so my heart can mend?
Because if you dont I may never breathe again.
So please don't leave
I cant breathe
Oh I cant breathe

A sad write but yet it was very well written with so much love. I’m sorry for the loss and I hope they can see how much you care. I wish you the best and I hope it all works out as I hope my relationship will heal as well. A great write and you showed your emotions really well in this piece. Take care….Steve

I love sad poems about love. i've been where ur poem is right now. Inbetween a rock and a hard place and you are just hoping for the best. The only thing you could do in this situation is let things roll and belive in fate. Well,I thought this was a very great poem.

Keep writing, it clears the soul.
Kirby
