A river of jealousy
Flows through my heart
My hearts a world of darkness
Overtaken by dark
If anyone can hear me
I ask you, please
Help me dry up the river
And feel a ray of peace
Let the sunshine that dried the river
Warm my tear stained face
As the wind blows the darkness away
Setting the light and joy in place
I sit in this dark corner
And contemplate on why
But as I bring my chin up
Down pours a ray of light
