I dont want to be confused
God I want some meaning
Any kind of direction
God I want what I am dreaming
I want to be complete
God I want to wake up happy
Just make me stronger
God I want to learn and see
I sincerely want to please you
God I do want your favour
Dont cast me as a sinner
God I want my faith to never waver
I dont want to have regrets
God I want to turn back time
Give me a second chance
God I want the days when I felt fine
I dont want to miss my friends
God I want them to return from the grave
Let me hold them again
God I want my mourning tears to save
I dont want to be bored
God I want no reason to cry
Take away all sadness
God I dont want people to die
I want to love again
God I want my heart to mend
Just stop the pain
God I really want this to end
Many things I want
But I know.
We do not always get what we WANT.
