she knows how to hug me when i am blue
my lil neice, my lil friend, my lil angel

she has the brightest blue eyes
i can even love her when she lies

could i ever love anyone more
you are my life's reason to smile
you are not the best lil girl
but one day you'll get it right

| I love your poem. I was unable to have children of my own, so being an Auntie is everything to me. You expressed in your poem exactly the way I feel and how strongly I adore my 8 year old niece Lili, thank you. Nice job! I look forward to reading more. =) |
