I have this sheild A shield of power, a sheild of pain A sheild to lose, a sheild to gain
I know this sheild A sheild that dies, a sheild that lives A sheild that takes, a sheild that gives
This sheild is Full of pain, full of sorrow Here today, gone tomorrow
This sheild is mine To carry around with me The sheild that nobody can see
It is unbroken Untouched Unharmed
It dies It lives It breathes
I am this sheild We are one With it i'm half Without it i'm none
This sheild is mine This sheild is me Together as one We breathe

This is a work of art, i love the difinitive
attitude within the contexed of this poem, your
words r most assuredly from a skilled pen as
well as an aspiering poetess, such as your
self, a lovely presentation if i do say so . . .

I am this sheild
We are one
With it i'm half
Without it i'm none
catch me if I'm wrong, but to me this reads like your sheild is a nice little barrier or mask that you show everyone, underneath it is the real you but to take it off you're naked and nothing. |
