The wind of despair
through my heart that it shears
I no longer appear
just a river of tears
this river of tears
I cried shopping today
couples holding hands
wish there's a way...
... but swallowed alone
in this river of tears
cut off from all
this heavy weight wears
Tis not about love
so painfully betrayed
it's this river of tears
of which I'm afraid
nuclear annihilation's
not my sum of all fears
but fading to nothing
in this river of tears
