Broken Trust

Contributed by sprinter27 on Sunday, 22nd May 2005 @ 09:19:06 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

You caught me, but then
You dropped me
Said you where there to lend
A hand when, I was in pain
But then you lied
And let me be
You didnt even try
I lost and you gained
I lost you
You won her
You were so untrue
But all that mattered
To you was
That you got her
It was my lost
My trust you shattered
I guess I wasnt important
Just someone to promise
That I was someone and meant
A lot to you and you said
That youd always be there
But for her, I was left alone
Without you, next to me, where
You said youd always be

But you walked away
You destroyed me
On that day
When you left me
And all your promises
Were broken
My strong trust in you
After three years,
Has finally been broken

It is SO hard to trust someone, I trust no one in my life. Everything I have been through, I dont know if I can ever trust again.
