I'm not anyone's favorite
They all prefer others
I stand and watch myself
Being passed up for another
I bite my tongue
And pray silently
For an end to the cycle
Of this wretched harmony
Smooth like clockwork
Accurate as a pin point
I give myself to you God
To cleanse and annoint
Wash the jealousy
Abandon the sin
Bring me hope
And peace within
Show me love
Open my heart
Double knot my ties
So I don't fall apart
You are the only one
That can give to me
This type of unconditional love
That completely finishes me
