Peace is what we need
In this world of hate and greed
No friends, yet enemies
Try but cant reach a better life
A better life with no knives and guns
No dead daughters and sons
But a new wave has begun
A wave that wants peace in the streets for the young
And that wave includes me
Cause those are my family
Dying in those streets
Where gang wars are not needed
Yet the death rate is exceeding over the number of the living
And those who kill for no reason
Or for shirts and sneakers
Pleading innocent when the soul pleads guilty
Are the same ones that are caught by the law
Not realizing that they caused their own downfall
All this could be over if we had a little love
A little peace
And realize in the end
God will judge those killing in the streets
