Heart gasping for breath, As your fingers trace the contours of my back, Feathery tales of adoration and passion Spun gracefully by your satin finger-tips Blazing lust searing my flesh, As you stare at me with smoldering eyes
Theres a softness within them that comforts me, An assurance that you will be gentle, Yet, satiate all of my crimson fantasies Lips parted, ready to accommodate your kiss, Head tilted slightly to the left, neck exposed, Waiting for the pleasure to begin
Lost within your eyes of jade and honey, Delving into your world of morbid beauty, Where the line separating fantasy from reality is invisible, And your love for me awakens
The inner-most sanctums of your soul reveals, The stirring dragon within you, Waiting for the moment to breathe flame, Consume you in fiery passion, The only outlet me
Sing our hymn of love to the smiling moon, Let us dance neath fallen embers of a Midnight Fantasy, Embracing the night with loving arms, Cherishing every moment of this blissful abandon, Hidden desires revealed
Dying and living, laughing and weeping, All at once, a torrent of joy and sorrow Every time you whisper my name, Kiss my yearning lips, Shroud me in your love, I know that you will have to leave me once more, As the sun proclaims her throne in the sky, To the crumbling castles in which you dwell, Preserved deep inside my mind
For you are only an illusion, A haunting phantom of something that I will never have, A poets perfect dream

This is beyond beautiful and sensual. The perfection here is a joy to behold. It may only be a dream, but one certainly worth pursuing in dreams and in real life. Your imagery and magic is splendid.

Steph this poem was just beauty. I am sure
in the future if a teacher wants to describe
beauty he/she will read this poem to the
youngter's that he/she can brainwash and
although this might be rather selfish I would
love to see their downcast faces once they
realize that love does not exist, but I guess it
is better they learn it when they are young and
malleable than learn it when they are older
and then take a machine gun and leave a
handful of smoldering remains in their
destructive wake.
Anyway that turned into a rather large ramble,
but I love this write. "For you are only an
illusion." I am not sure if the "you" is the
person described in your fantasies of if "you"
refers to love, but love is an illusion and so is
the person so I guess either way you want to
raed it works for the betterment of humanity.
Anyway this is getting rather long, but I must
interject one more comment. I loved the part
near the beginning about being gentle yet
knowing your crimson fantasies would be
fulfilled. Your Canadian friend gives it three
thumbs up.
