Demented and deminished I fade, never again to feel the sun's rays, twisted and cracked I disipate, forever to be unseen and never relate.
I will not cry nor shall I fight, I will only lie in the dead of the night, alone and shattered and full of spite, drained and delusioned with nothing to confide.
Abused and discarded I dream no more, dead inside I am just another sore, emotionless and numb I feel nothing more, corrupted and blackened I have no core.
I will not beg nor shall I pray, I will no longer care for the light of day, souless now and forever astray, dead inside I have no more to say.

I can very much relate with this poem. Awesome blend of words that serve meaning. I hate when people throw big words in poetry only to not blend or make sense. With this poem, I know thats not the case. |

I really like the way your stanzas are displayed in this poem. I write the same way (when i write .. which sadly isn't that often) A wise friend of mine told me to shy away from rhyming when writing poetry, but if I choose to it better be the best damn rhyming anyone's ever seen. But the words you used in this poem mold it together and really make it work. So congrats on a well written piece. |
