It's as if this pen has a mind of its own
always writing of a girl I don't even know
if it drew a picture, it would settle my mind
then this girl would be easy to find
until i find her I'll live like a rube
and read what it writes, this ink in the tube

Short and to the point. And what a point you've reached with this ...
paul, I've always admired the way in which your heart lies open.
And you have demonstrated that, (again wonderfully) in this
write.
Question ... if you happen to chance upon this girl . . . would you
recognize her? Would she, you? IMO, you have won already, by
leaving yourself open and receptive to emotion and the
sweet comfort that another soul can deliver.
