Alive
Our friendship is alive
it lives and breathes each day
We may be close or far apart
yet it grows still,
within our hearts
The times we share build memories
of love and joy and tears
and what a strong foundation,
we have made throughout the years
Secrets shared and loves we've lost
we will stand true, at any cost
Our friendship is alive

within our hearts
As years go by and memories fade
our bond will shine so true
for in all my life, in all the world
I have found a friend, in you
Laughter and heartache, go hand in hand
yet with you, my friend, I still can stand
