Someone else's

Contributed by xxbreathlessx on Wednesday, 25th May 2005 @ 02:16:30 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Endlessly I feel into the boundless limits
In your eyes.
Falling until I became nothing
But a whisper of existence.
Tasting each temptation thrown upon me
Through this doubtless rain of uncertainty ,
But I fell away to my senses
And left only to awake.
I realize that your breath no longer
Speaks words of truth as
It dances against my ear.
Am I that gullible?
Im fooled by your eyes meaningless deception,
Of nothing that I know,
Nothing that I want,
But everything that makes my pulse race
And my hands sweat.
Fool me with your kiss.
Let me taste the lies upon your tongue.
Give me sweet surrender from reality,
So well held at the palm of my hand.
Pull away and let me look into your eyes
Once more.
To remind myself that this isnt what I want.
Your eyes have lost their shine,
My hands have gotten cold and dry.
Your breath against my ear
With all the lies you sold.
Ive broken free of falling
And regained realitys grip on life.
Your nothing of what I want, what I hope, what I dream.
..Your someone elses Knight in shining armor.
