Why do you think you have to hurt me
to make me understand,
why must you make me bleed
and watch my tears fall as I stand,
why do you think my feelings
can't be real,
why must you make my cry
for my happiness you steal,
why must you have to
hate to love me,
why must you fill my eyes
with your emotional hurt,
where was your hand when
i was drowning in the dirt,
Why isn't it enough
to break my heart,
over and over again
right from the start,
to many years I've wasted
trying to figure out why,
I just don't understand why
I just can't say
GOOD-BYE
