I am at a crossroads
and that's quite a quandry
next choice shapes my life
more than doing the laundry
It's a choice of vocation
that troubles my mind
making the wrong choice
will leave me behind
Two options present
themseves to my eye
to avoid the wrong choice
I'd rather die
My last job was a crime
worse than a felony
and at the root of it all
was my enemy
Option number 1
can be described as quite safe
but lifeless it will be
at my creativity chafe
Option number 2
is a postion with risk
satisfaction will be real
and challenges brisk
Do I follow my heart
and my head anger

It's a matter of choice
our only free will
so which do I choose
steady or the thrill?

Look at it as if you were choosing a partner for life. Which is the one you could live with and be happy and content for the next 20-30 yrs. Wishing you luck.

humm... tough choice... pick tha one that interests u the most that u could see yerself doing fer a long period of time or smtg... idk i dont giv good advice on this kinda stuff cuz ive never rilly werked...

| i choose two but one pay more still i choose two take a chance and risk. MY daughter also want a ipod every time i go to the store the frist thing she show me i THE ipod.. good luck |

Thank you all for your support. Interestingly enough, almost everyone in my physical life (with the exception of my son) tells me to take the 1st choice. Almost everyone in the online community advises me on choice no. 2. I think that says a lot about both sets of people. Honestly, it was sufficient lack of satisfaction in my physical life that drove me to writing poetry and discovering YPDC in the first place. Which basically means that they still don't get it, LOL. And, I realize now I had already made up my mind and was looking for validation. It's not necessarily who listens longer, but who listens better, and YPDC has great listeners. I will take door #2, and ty again.

if it's the 2nd choice calling you... then go ahead. i most likely would've followed the 2nd one, too. hope it works/ed(?) out. keep up the good work.
