The only thing that separates you from me
Is that you're blind and you can't see
You never notice when I sit and cry
You never listen when I ask you why
Why is it when you see me you never say hi?
But anytime you leave you always say bye
Is there no glamour in my eye?
Is there no beauty in my smile?
Is there no taste on my lips?
Why don't you ever hold my hips?
All I ask is for a little attention
But all I get is the cold shoulder and a lot of tension
We don't kiss anymore
We don't hold each other's hands
We don't make love anymore
We always have different plans
What is the reason for all these changes?
We are now like two lions that they won't put in two separate cages
We roar and we fight
Can you please get your sight?
To notice my tears
And help me with my fears
Of losing my friend
I don't want this to be the end!

| i understand exactly. i was still in love with my ex for awhile and despite the way he treated me, i wanted him more and more. i never looked at what exactly he was doing and just kept on diving in for more and only dwelling on him. |
