The clear water that reflects your image back While the septum in your nostrils begins to crack That the air you breathed Was kept inside beyond its capabilities The lungs which mediate The cells of life never procreate While the shadows of facts Delineates and appropriates The funding for its attack When the black masks Reveal their white eyes When the dilated pupils Burn the retinas inside Feel me pull you close by And whisper you A babys last Lullaby
Muster enough strength to stand and take your whip The lashes that inflict you have sunk the battle ship Invaders that mistake you for a foe of the kings creed Give credence to the documents that cause you to bleed
The fresh cut grass on a summers day A delicate tulip opens to the lights ray The overriding symptoms will not obey While the clogged arteries Causes the nourishment to delay A sudden burst of energy A silence motivating factor An unforeseen miracle A likely disaster Dont blink an eyelid Dont insult your master Prepare for hell Or earths wonders The rain and the wind Brought the Everlasting Thunder

Okay, I think I'm ready to leave a comment now. I've re-read this countless times in the past couple hours, and admittedly had to look up 'septum' in the dictionary...lol
(Perhaps dropping out of high school wasn't such a hot idea!!) I have to say, I felt MANY emotions reading this, it was almost like reading several different poems in one....I like this immensely, and the thought put into this leaves me a little speechless, and at one or two parts I almost, ALMOST shed a tear....(not something easy to accomplish) I will say bravo my friend, and this was intense....
Scorp.
(who maybe should've pm'd you instead!!) |

Enjoyable dark in its power. Calls for strength and responsibility it would seem. Good write! |
