I don't want to get up
I just don't want to move
maybe just sleep
until it's all done
To little smiles
Far to much pain
I'm swimming in them
These tears, all my own
To call to
and run to
then banish away
until I'm consumed
overwhelmed by it all
Forcefully pulled
I unwillingly fall
Let down by my heart
This heart I gave out
Has now all caved in
Walls getting closer
Breath short, now gone
A love never seen
but very much wanted
What mistakes I have made
I'll soon see a price
It's hard
and I don't know
How long I can stand
If this is what standing will bring me
Standing up for a love
and all that you know
All that he knows
And what I know now
Standing up for a right
to make their lives better
make it all go away
for good, forever
So here I am standing
the only one there
My life spent trying
I give up, I'll step down
Forcefully pulled
I unwillingly fall
Let down by my heart
This heart I gave out
