What is love I often ask meself
Is it Obsession, Jealousy or Lust?
Surely it cant be that
But yet, in the name of love
It's everything you given me
Never holding back a nerve
Signed for life and times
With the remaining marks of you
I fear for love....
What is happiness I wonder
Is it Depression, Sadness or Anger
Surely it cant be that
For all the times we spent together
The only thing you given me was just that
Not knowing how to embrace
Everything on the unbeaten path
With your reflection still showing
Lingering in the darkness of me soul
I fear for happiness....
Family and friends gathering
Everyone I hold so dear
Laughing and cheering
Unaware of this pain
Crawling underneath me skin
For hearts and souls fragile as glass
Easily shattered into pieces
Left to be never healed again
Enjoying this festive called life
If is this love and happiness
As they know it, Then I fear for them....

Real love does not hurt. It is not cruel or unkind. It is caring and devoted and faithful. I you find a love with these qualities then you have found real love and there is no need to be afraid.

This poem is about me previous spouse whom has given me what I discribed in the poem. This new love is showing me the different side to things...and its scary cause I never knew it could be like this.
Thought I'd enlighten this..as the note seemed to make it appear differently.

If you find true love then seize it with both hands and cherish it with all your heart.

It's a little different than the other writes I've read by you so far; yet, it is still brilliant. Straight from your heart and your soul which all your writes are about and you do that sooooo incredibly well.
I could feel the emotion in this so well and that makes it a masterpiece. Of course that is only my humble opinion; nonetheless, it is still my opinion.
Perfect & incredible.
