What if I never existed
What if nothing ever really mattered
And everything I lived for was a lie
All my hopes and dreams are shattered
Until there's nothing left but emptiness
I try to convince myself that there is someone there
Someone to talk to someone to listen
But they won't listen and truly never cared
Why do they lie like this
How could they be so cruel
I tried to understand but am left in the dark
But now I realize that I truly don't exist
And nothing I have ever done really mattered
It was all a lie and my hopes were merely dreams
And all that's left is the truth
No one really cares and never truly did

I know how you feel, it seems I am in a very similar place right now. It's
not something I'm ready to write about though, what with all the pain
that would open up. You're a strong person if you can. Nice write.
