The need, the cant
The conflict and anguish
I die when I watch you
A ways away
Its not like I cant say
Hey, lets go out today
It feels more complicated
Than that
And I know you feel the same way I do too
Dont you?
Perfection is in a moment
The moments I watch waltz off
In your shoes
Simplicity is in the knowledge
And fear in the lack of action
What I want and what I do
Are never the same
Years of seeing
Years of watching
Waiting
Wanting
Haunting
Hating
Knowing
The Unknown
Hating
The truth
Denial
Infantile
Its just another
Small smile
Sly while
Needing
Having
Holding
Nothing
The things
I cant take
The stuff
I dont want
I do
I dont
Its just
I melt in your presence
I die in your eyes
I fall in your fragrance
I trip in your smile
Im loud when youre around
Then Im quiet too
Im so careless when it comes to you
Im in denial
This isnt tangible
I hate to admit
I know the truth
I hate it too
